They passed an abandoned, broken down car during a moment of silence. "Never though I'd say this, but I actually might miss her blind dates when I'm gone."

Grace paused. She didn't like to think about Luke going to transfer. She was okay with him doing Coast Guard on the weekends since he was still close to home, but something about him going off into the Army or Navy (he couldn't decide) was... terrifying.
He was her best friend and she didn't have any other siblings or cousins. She didn't want to be alone, not yet. People always say they're two halves of a whole and then the two of them argue that they're two different people but, they're still twins. Grace is still not over JK Rowling killing off Fred and she doesn't want to become that.
She shook her head at the thought, "Nah your captain person will set you up with another girl."

"I doubt it. Cap's too busy with his head up his ass to care about his crew. If there's one thing I'm looking forward to, it's being out of his command."

Grace's phone buzzed again, this time a snapchat from her friend Eryn featuring the skyline of Albany and the words "these buildings don't know I'm gay af". Grace laughed and decided to reply.
She held up her phone, "I'm taking a snapchat, Luke," she warned as she took the photo. Grace smiled as she typed in the caption "to Worchester w the brobro" both replying to Eryn and posting it to her story.

Luke just looked at the road. "Hey, can you plug my phone into the aux?"

Grace followed the auxiliary cord until she found the end and plugged it into Luke's phone. She unlocked it and asked "whatcha wanna listen to?" as she scrolled through his songs and seeing a few she didn't recognize and some in languages she didn't recognize.

Luke pondered it for a moment. "Put on Unbreakable by Stratovarius."

She scrolled through the artists and got to the S's. Grace tapped and scrolled again until she got to the song and tapped it. It started with a nice piano tune then turned to something heavier. This is not my jam she thought to herself bitterly before remembering she listens to crap rap when she's driving because it makes her laugh.

Luke mouthed the words silently, remembering every one. It was one of his favorites.

Grace got a snapchat back from Eryn, a picture of a computer screen showing a google image search for Worchester New York with the caption "those buildings don't know im gay either."
Grace chuckled and took a snap video of Luke dramatically mouthing along with the caption "what a nerd" and sent it to Eryn, a few other friends, and Luke. A few seconds later his phone went off through the speakers.

Luke sighed as the song was muted for a brief second before resuming. He would check that later.

Grace took a few snaps of the trees and sent them to Eryn captioned "These trees don't know I'm ace" and "And they never will", unknowingly saying them aloud as she typed them.

Luke shot a concerned glance at Grace. He wasn't sure she knew she spoke out loud. "Ace?" he asked.

Grace slowly looked to her brother, "Yea, asexual" she's sure they've been over it before.
